The Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad
The CP&LE RR is a 36" narrow guage amusement park railroad, located on the Cedar Point peninsula on the shores of Lake Erie, near Sandusky, Ohio. Operating on a two-mile loop that circles the northern two-thirds of the park, the railroad hauls 2 million passengers a year. Started in 1963 under the guidance of George Roose, the park boasts a stable of five locomotives, three of which are currently operational; one is awaiting repairs, while another is on static display.
